Getting Started with Employment Hero Integration 

This guide outlines the procedure for integrating Employment Hero with Prestartr.

This integration enables the automatic retrieval of essential employee data, including contact details, employment type, and pay types, directly into your Payroll details. 

 

The integration runs automatically every hour. 

It primarily pulls Employee data from the HR System (Employment Hero).

Sync Logic & Rules

Source of Truth: Employment Hero (EH) is the primary source.

Exclusions: Employees who exist in the Payroll module but not in EH are ignored and will not be synced.

Automatic Grouping: All successfully synced profiles are automatically added to the "Employees" group in Prestartr.

Automatic Entity Creation

The system checks for existing entities during the sync. If they do not exist in Prestartr, they are created automatically based on the following mapping:

Qualifications & Training

The integration handles both general qualification definitions and individual employee records.

1. Qualifications Catalogue

Global certifications are pulled from Employment Hero and synced to the Qualifications list in the Prestartr Catalogue.

Synced Data: Certification Name only.

2. Employee Training Records

The system retrieves all Approved Employee Certifications from Employment Hero. It then creates and submits Training Record forms in Prestartr, ensuring the Training Matrix is up to date.
