Using the Scheduler
The Scheduler module in Prestartr has three different setups:
- Standard Scheduler:
Drag and drop your resources and fill out the Allocation form.
 - Direct Allocation Scheduler:
Drag and drop your resources onto Job Lanes.
 - Work Order Scheduler:
Drag and drop your Services and resources on your scheduled Work Orders.

Click the tabs about for basic instructions for using the Scheduler.
Standard
The Standard Scheduler is uses Allocations for either Staff or Plant.

To Add a New Allocation, from the Scheduler click and drag either Staff or Plant to the desired Job.Â
The Allocations menu will open.

To create your allocation, you must provide at least the two following points of information:Â
- Work Order Name,Â
- Ensure the Start Time is earlier than the End Time.
Update and fill out the other fields as desired.
Click Save to add the Allocation to the Scheduler.

Once you have created your Allocation, you can right click to Edit or Delete the Scheduler Work Order.
If you Allocation requires Staff or Plant, drag and drop the desired resources from the right hand panel.
Upon allocation, you will see an Allocation Warning:

- Click Confirm to assign to all future slots.
- Click Cancel to assign to the current empty slot.Â

You have successfully created a Scheduler Work Order.
Right-click to Edit, Delete, or Remove allocations from a Scheduler Work Order.
Direct Allocation

The Direct Allocation Scheduler moves Staff or Plant directly under Job lanes for each Zone.

To create a Direct Allocation, click and drag either a Staff or Plant from the resources panel on the right.
When a resource has been Assigned, they will be greyed out in the resources panel. Each resource will also display a relevant status such as Available or Assigned.


You can Edit or Delete an allocation by right-clicking on the allocation on the Scheduler.
Deleting an allocation will update it's status from Assigned to Available.
When editing an allocation, make changes as required.
Click Save to confirm and update the Scheduler allocations.
Work Order
The Work Order Scheduler requires the creation of a Work Order from the Work Orders module. See Add a New Work Order for details on this process.

From the Scheduler, you will see the available Work Order Allocation.

In the resources table on the right, click the Services tab to access your Services List.
The services listed here will have been setup in your Catalogues prior to this.

Click and drag your desired Service onto the Work Order Allocation.
You will see a confirmation dialog - click Confirm to add the service to the allocation.
Depending on the service used, you may need to add additional Staff or Plant to the allocation.
Click and drag from the resources panel to add them to the Work Order allocation.


Right-click to remove a Staff or Plant allocation from the Scheduler Work Order.
