
In the Rental module there are two types of Hire forms - Hire Agreement and Hire Contract.
The Hire Contract provides the following format of information:
- Basic Details
- Wet Hire Conditions - Advanced
- Plant - Labour - Material
Create a New Hire Contract

Click New Hire Contract in the upper right corner of the Hire Contract list to open the creation menu.
From this menu, enter the details as needed. There are no required fields when creating a Hire Contract - enter as much information as is available, and you can edit the contract later as needed.
When creating a new Hire Contract, there are six sections of details that may be populated.
Basic Details

The Basic Details section has the following fields:
- Job (optional)
- Customer
- Customer Representative
- Customer Email
- Customer Address
- Site Location
- Purchase Order Number
- Start Date
- Expected End Date
- End Date
- First Day of Billing Period
- Payment Terms
Wet Hire Conditions - Advanced

The Wet Hire Conditions is where you set the Wet Hire Day Shift Start and the Wet Hire Day Shift End, as well as select if SMU Hours Required.
The Advanced section includes two checkboxes, one for Include Damage Waiver and one for Split Invoice by Equipment/Labour.
Plant - Labour - Materials - Allowances

When creating a Hire Contract, you can add Hire Rates for Plant, Labour, and Materials.
In the Plant section, you can add rates for Dry Hire and for Wet Hire.
For any of these areas, to add a new rate, click Add New Rate to open the create menu.
For Plant and Labour Wet Hire you can select between a Flat rate, a Unit rate, and a Daily rate.
Each section is detailed below.
Plant

Click Add New Rate to add to either section.
To Edit a Hire Rate, click the Edit pencil on the Rate you wish to edit.
To Delete a Hire Rate, click the Rubbish icon on the Rate you wish to delete.
When adding Dry Hire Rates, you can record the following information:

- Rate Line Item Code
- Rate Option
- Plant
- Hire Service
- Hire Period
- Hire Rate
- Type of Hire
- Rate Type
- Apply Standby
- Mobilisation Charge
- Demobilisation Charge
When adding Wet Hire Rates, you can record the following information:

- Rate Line Item Code
- Rate Option
- Plant
- Type of Wet Hire
- Flat Rate
- Apply Hourly Standby Type
- Fuel Charge (Hourly)
Click Save to confirm your Hire Rate.
Labour

Click Add New Rate to add a new Labour Hire Rate.
To Edit a Hire Rate, click the Edit pencil on the Rate you wish to edit.
To Delete a Hire Rate, click the Rubbish icon on the Rate you wish to delete.
When adding Labour Hire Rates, you can record the following information:

- Rate Line Item Code
- Rate Option
- Service
- Type of Wet Hire
- Flat Rate
Materials

Click Add New Rate to add a new Material Hire Rate.
To Edit a Hire Rate, click the Edit pencil on the Rate you wish to edit.
To Delete a Hire Rate, click the Rubbish icon on the Rate you wish to delete.
When adding Material Hire Rates, you can record the following information:

- Rate Line Item Code
- Material
- Unit of Measure
- Material Rate
Allowances

Click Add New Rate to add a new Allowance Hire Rate.
To Edit a Hire Rate, click the Edit pencil on the Rate you wish to edit.
To Delete a Hire Rate, click the Rubbish icon on the Rate you wish to delete.
When adding Allowance Hire Rates, you can record the following information:

- Rate Line Item Code
- Payroll Conditional Allowance
- Type of Wet Hire
- Minimum Hours (Unit)
- Hourly Rate (Unit)
- Flat Rate (Flat)
- Flat Daily Rate (Flat Daily)
Edit, Duplicate, and Delete a Hire Contract

When working with Hire Contracts, each agreement has three Actions available to it.
